At 15, I tried the first time coffee from a vending machine. It was a kind of latte. Then I realized that coffee is super. I began to walk around the cafe and simultaneously observe what the barista is doing. At home we had an old DeLongi of carob type and a cappuccino maker sticking out of it, hehe. Parents drink coffee without milk / cream, but I can’t stand such a thing at all.
Repeating the actions of the barista, I learned how to make coffee at home, and now, I could drink 4-5 cups a day. At the university, I often bought coffee before classes and during, then drank another mug at home. So yes - I'm still a coffee lover.
But now I’m married, I hooked my husband on coffee, but I didn’t teach how to teach cooking. He is too lazy to bother with this. They were looking for a gift for their father-in-law's birthday - they stopped looking at this crumb, which they later bought for themselves. Since my husband woke up earlier than me and didn’t want to make coffee himself, he was just happy with the capsule coffee machine - he threw the capsule, the coffee is ready.
This baby went on an action in MVideo along with an aerocino - a thing for foaming and heating milk. The price was about 9-10 thousand rubles. + In the summer there was an action that when you buy a car you get another 300 capsules with a 50% discount - that is, you buy 150 and you get another 150 capsules as a gift. In short, very buzzing happened.
We have a milky coffee machine. It takes up very little space. A water tank, designed for ~ 0.6 l, is attached to the back. It is plastic itself, like a coffee machine. But the quality of the case is excellent - there is no feeling of cheapness and fragility.
-I apologize for the quality of the photos, I took pictures in the evening-
The lid on top is ordinary - it rises and falls easily.
There are only two buttons on the case itself. We stick the plug into the outlet and in order to activate the machine - press any button.
When both buttons are green, the machine is ready for use. If the indicators are blinking, the machine is warming. It usually takes ~ 30 seconds to get ready for work. Two modes, respectively - espresso and lungo. Since my husband and I drink coffee with milk, we cook using the espresso mode (right button, where the volume is smaller). Lungo does not quite understand, so I do not touch the button.
If you need to stop the process - press the button, the water supply stops. To turn off the coffee machine, hold down two buttons at the same time. Yes, you can accidentally turn it on again)
If you do not turn off the machine - it will turn itself off after a while.
Now about the capsules. In the case there is a lifting panel where we insert the capsule. This panel is durable and tightly fixed, but it rises without problems.
The capsule stands here until we open the panel again. After opening, the used capsule falls down - into a special tank, which holds about 5-6 used capsules. By the way, what does the Nespresso capsule look like:
The capsule is aluminum, sealed. We tried analogs compatible with Nespresso - the taste of coffee is cheaper, but the price does not differ much. Nespresso capsules are recycled and reused. You can give them to the courier upon receipt of the next order.
Yes, by the way about that. You can buy Nespresso in boutiques that are not in all cities. We are in Novosibirsk and we have to order - there is a huge minus. Because free delivery comes from 100 capsules, and the number of capsules should be, like, a multiple of 50. So, ordering 80 or 120 will not work.
The range of capsules is wide, with different saturation, taste notes and there is even caffeine free. The capsules in the package look like this:
In one box 10 pieces. The cost of capsules starts at 29r apiece. Think expensive? I do not agree. At my place is a carob type coffee machine.
It takes up much more space and requires more time for cooking. I compared the price tag and quality. Suppose I take 200g of coffee for 400r. On one mug, it takes me about 12g. Accordingly, with 200g I get 16 mugs. Divide 400r into 16 mugs - we get 25r in one serving.
As you know, the prices for ground coffee are different. After opening the bag of coffee, it is necessary to store it in certain conditions, tightly sealed so that it does not lose its saturation, aroma and taste. Really good coffee will not be cheap, it’s good. In addition, to get a delicious cup of espresso, you need to competently serve the whole machine as a whole + the machine must have a certain power to work.
Nespresso-compatible capsules from other manufacturers, frankly, are very different. The taste is less pleasant, and the price is not very different. Saves only "accessibility" - you can buy in the nearest Ribbon, Auchan.
I will tell you about the aerocino in another review.
I recommend this coffee machine as a gift to a coffee lover.
Separately, it costs about 5-6 thousand rubles in MVideo.
With an aerochino about 13-14 thousand rubles in the same place.
PS The price of the goods is indicated for one coffee machine - approximate price.
